2D transparency problem

2D transparency problem

2D transparency problem

(OP)
Hello;
In CatiaV5 in assembly design (Catproduct), I have some catparts with 100% transparency and some parts with 50% transparency.
In 2d (Catdrawing), I want to have a front-view respecting transparency level in 3D.
Unfortunately all parts are shown with 100% transparency.
How can I sort it out?
Thank you

RE: 2D transparency problem

Hi cemunal2000,
I don't understand what you mean by applying transparency in 2D.If you want to hide some parts you can right click the view...go to overload properties..then choose the filter options for hide/show of the respective parts.
You can also go for a break out view for showing the hidden parts.
I can help you if you can describe your requirement.

3 Catparts with different Opacity levels in a Catproduct (Assembly Design).
1) 100% opacity 2)50% opacity 3) 25% opacity
In Catdrawing When ı get a front-view I want each part to be shown according to its opacity. (Sharp or Obscure, less obscure etc..). But it doesn't.
How can I do that?

Like Eric said;

Go to the view Properites....

1. change Dress-Up options and turn-on 3D COLORS
2. scroll down to View Generation Mode and change EXACT to RASTER
3. then change Options to SHADING WITH EDGES
