FEA verification: Uniformly loaded circle plate (simply supported at the edge)

(OP)
A 0.5” thick and 40” diameter circle plate is simply supported at its edge and the uniformly is 5psi. The maximum stress of the plate from ANSYS is verified with theoretical solution ((formula is from p.141, Strength of materials, part II, advanced theory and problems, second edition, by S. Timoshenko).

The two figures show the bending stress distribution in Cylindrical coordinate system and Cartesian coordinate system respectively.
