Copy sketch from draft to model

Copy sketch from draft to model

(OP)
Hi All,

I've made a layout in the drafting environment. How can I copy and paste this layout into a model sketch ?

Lars.

RE: Copy sketch from draft to model

I don't think that copying drafting sketches and pasting into a model sketch is supported. One possible work-around would be to export a CGM of your drafting sheet, switch to modeling and import the CGM file, then create a new sketch in modeling and use the "use existing curves" function to get the curves into the sketch.

RE: Copy sketch from draft to model

You can do this if you created your 2D sketch in NX Layout. Don't know if this is already available in NX10 ?
