Spatial distribution of elastic modulus

Spatial distribution of elastic modulus

Spatial distribution of elastic modulus

(OP)
Hello Everyone,

I want to apply a non-uniform distribution of the elastic modulus to a part, based on an external data file with the format [x,y,z,density,E].
I tried to define the density through an analytical mapped field (which I generated with the data file); however, I haven't been able to define the elastic modulus based on a mapped field or to relate the elastic modulus and density within Abaqus (I tried to do it through USDFLD subroutine).

Does anyone know if is there any way to generate the distribution of E based on an external data file?

Thanks,

Fernando.
