Drafting Components Issue - Dimensions Hidden

Drafting Components Issue - Dimensions Hidden

Thank you in advance: I have a .stp file that I imported into what we call a "seed" file, which is we have a title block for our customer set up. We then import the .stp file. This particular .stp file includes 24 different components. I put each component on its own layer in order to draft each component. When I select, for example, Linear Dimension, I select both points, then the dimension shows, I click for placement, and the dimension disappears. Same thing when I try to create a Center Mark, it takes me through the steps, but the Center Mark does not appear.

Are the dimensions being placed, or what am I doing incorrectly?

What version of NX are you using? Also, are you trying to create drafting dimensions on the drawing sheet or PMI dimensions in a model view?

What layer is your dimensions going on?

It could also be your dimension preferences for colour are the same as the background colour. Just do a select all to see if they highlight.

Check your worklayer...when not visible in the views you get exactly that behavior.

It was a layer issue. Now resolved. Thank you very much for the help, and I apologize for the late response.
