RE: Thermal Oil System

Contact Dow, Therminol, Paratherm, Duratherm, etc. They provide heat transfer fluid tech support for potential and existing customers.

Good luck,

To a ChE, the glass is always full - 1/2 air and 1/2 water.

RE: Thermal Oil System

Generally speaking, thermal efficency is much better with a steam system than with thermal oil for power recovery applications. For heat energy tranfer operations, condensing steam heat transfer coeff is much better than that for hot oils.
