CREERAAM,

You have posted 8 questions in this forum asking about the value of various certificates.

Your other posts suggest that you are relatively inexperienced.

Certificates are nice to have. They fill up space on otherwise empty walls.

Experience and knowledge are far better. Work more on gaining these, and less on getting things to put on your walls.

Dear Mr.MintJulep,

First of all Thanking you for sharing to your open mind thoughts about certifications.

I would like to engage in purely QC dept Like controlling, Statistics, Auditing Etc., and others related things particularly in QC OR WELDING FIELD only. I Don't have any worthy certifications to take challenging works in the QC field. Nowadays peoples asking Certifications at least to take the interviews. one of my friend suggested to take CSWIP to enter in the welding field he said it is must. so am thinking welding courses or QC related courses.

What's your suggestion?

I heard about the

1.CSWIP and IIW courses- For welding

2. ASQ certifications- For QC Dept.

Academic Qualifications : Am Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Finished Guy With 7 Years Experience.

Professional Qualifications: Certified welding inspector certificate only.
