As you probably know, temperature by resistance represents an average temperature. RTD could read somewhat higher than average temeprature since OEM generally attempt to get RTD close to the hottest spot (often the axial center of the winding). I think about 10C difference is max expected.
If it doesn't say "by resistance" or "by rtd" or something similar on the nameplate, then I would look at the standard which was used to purchase the motor.
For NEMA small/medium squirrel cage induction motors, a rise on the nameplate would be average:
