plot file converter

does anyone know of anything that will convert plt files to dxf, dwf...or dwg files?

RE: plot file converter

Try the following web site, "http://output.tmfweb.nl/";, it is Govert's Tools. I don't recall what format it will save the drawing to.

Hope that this helps.

RE: plot file converter

CADqueen,
Curious?
Do you have the "Express tools" for AutoCAD 2000i?
If so, you could use that ....
.
Go to ...
Express>file tools>convert plt to dwg.
.
You didn't mention which version you were on or if you tried this already. But it was worth a shot.
.
Hope this helps.

RE: plot file converter

Hi,

What about plt files which are not in HPGL format? I've tried express tools and obviously I didn't obtain any result (in fact, the message of the software was the file is not a HPGL format). Also, with plot command from dos prompter I didn't have any result.

Untill now, I didn't see such kind of files (plt files which are not in HP format).

Any suggestion?
