PROJECTION FLEXION-TORSION connector in ABAQUS

PROJECTION FLEXION-TORSION connector in ABAQUS

(OP)
I am trying to calculate the total flexion angle in Abaqus based on the output given by the connector element PROJECTION FLEXION-TORSION, wich I used with a JOIN for translation.

The fact is that according to the documentation we have a relationship between angle alpha anda the alpha_1 and alpha_2 angles. I just don't understand how to get it from the pure outputs ur1, ur2, ur3 anda maybe the localCoordSystem.

Since I am using a script to evaluate parametric studies towards riser analysis, and I am idealizing lower flex joint (basically a flexural spring) as this kind of connector, I don't manage to calculate this angle, wich is important to be acsounted vessel disconection from a oil well that is being drilled.

The outputs for the problem are: ur1 = 0.0831322744488716, ur2 = -0.108433052897453, ur3 = 1.95628339916265e-11, localCoordSystem: ((0.992112874984741, -0.00339953019283712, -0.125301972031593), (-0.00336137716658413, 0.9985511302948, -0.0537060163915157), (0.125303015112877, 0.0537036173045635, 0.990664005279541))

The total fexural angle for this case should be aproximatelly 0.112011149525642 rad (simulation with vessel offset only in x direction).

Both componentes (BOP wich is represented by a rigid discrete wire) and the riser (PIPE31) are conected as mentioned above by the LFJ (lower flex joint).

Thanks in advance for the ones trying to help me with this.
