Codemaster MWFRS and C&C Procedure

Codemaster MWFRS and C&C Procedure

(OP)
Hello Everyone,

I have a copy of Codemaster Wind Design Overview ASCE-10 and I'm a little confused about the design procedure for my building. I have a partially enclosed building and a height less than 60'. I would like to use method 1 (Chapter 27, Part 1) Directional Procedure for buildings of all heights for my MWFRS calculation. But when I go to step 8 (C&C) I need to use chapter 30, part 1 (h < 60 ft)and it says that the counterpart to envelope procedure is chapter 28, part 1 for MWFRS.

So, my question is, can I still use Chapter 30, part 1 for C&C and also use Chapter 27, part 1 for MWFRS or do I need to use Chapter 30 part 1 with Chapter 28, part 1. Obviously, I want to use chapter 27 part 1 since it's easier, I'm just wondering if I can interchange modes.

Thank you very much.
