NX Documentation

Hi,

I have installed NX 9 + Documentation in windows 10 but I cannot open the documentation. That is when I try to open NX documentation, it opens via Microsoft edge as default and then the page is just blank. Any idea why this happens? Answers would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Amit Paul

Thanks for your reply. When I set Internet Explorer as the default browser, it shows enable java script while opening the documentation. But I have already enabled java script every possible way. I did the same with chrome too but was unsuccesful.

RE: NX Documentation

If the docs you're trying to open are in CHM format, this is the source of your troubles. CHM files can contain malware, so Microsoft makes it inconvenient to open them. You have to loosen up some security settings. Search around the net for "CHM file not displayed" or something like that.

RE: NX Documentation

Since we put the docs on a web server, I don't install them locally anymore, and save a lot of headaches.
If you have a webkey account and decent internet access, try the online NX Documentation

Hi markrief,

I do have a web key account. So how does the online thing work? I mean isnt it the same installing online or offline?

Amit Paul

RE: NX Documentation

By using the link Mark posted, you are accessing the documentation on a Siemens hosted server.
You always have the latest documentation available and no local install issues.
