Help with Boric Acid Storage Tank Material
Help with Boric Acid Storage Tank Material
(OP)
We need to mix Boric Acid powder with 3% boric acid and 37% sodium sulfate, and need to keep the solution warm at around 130F. I have been searching for storage tanks and found out carbon steel is not a compatible material when storing boric acid. It was recommended to do tank lining. Does anyone know what the lining material should be to withstand the heat? Thank you!

RE: Help with Boric Acid Storage Tank Material
Will there be mixing in the tank ( i.e. must the tank support a mixer ??)
130F is not out of the range for FRP....
Can you do multiple FRP tanks ???
