UDE and Postprocessor

(OP)
Hi All,

I'm using the UDE "Set Modes" to change the feederate in a toolpath to FRN from default IPM. Does anyone know a way at the "End of Path" or anywhere in the post to change it back to IPM mode without using the UDE again. The Address G_feed stays G93 after being set in the UDE and I cannot change it back to G94 without using the UDE again. Trying to reset it back to G94 at "End of Path" in the post.

Thanks,
Rick D

RE: UDE and Postprocessor

You can set the Post to output FRN and IPM based on the type of motion.
On the federate menu you can choose to set the feed to FRN for Rotary only or linear and Rotary combined

This way you do not need the UDE.

Thanks John,
That was exactly what I was missing.
