Fire Fighting Water Capacity (How much volume of water?)

Fire Fighting Water Capacity (How much volume of water?)

So I will be designing the Fire Fighting Water System of a 10 MW Power Plant.

And I have to finish first the underground fire ring.

But I can size the Fire Fighting Ring since I can't find a reference that will tell me how much Volume of water should I have to supply the fire water of the entire plant incase of fire.

How to determine the standby volume of water?

RE: Fire Fighting Water Capacity (How much volume of water?)

Perform a hazard analysis.

RE: Fire Fighting Water Capacity (How much volume of water?)

Your best bet is to contact the insurance company or consortium providing the property coverage. If you are situated next to a river, half of your battle is won, remaining is to determine the size of the fire pump(s).
