Welding beads not visible in parent assembly

Welding beads not visible in parent assembly

I have created a fillet Weld in an subassembly but I can not see it in the assembly which contains this subassembly. Do I need to check some option to see it?

RE: Welding beads not visible in parent assembly

As default welds are visible in higher level assembly as well.

Check that they are not excluded in the reference set you use.

Thank you. I am not familiar with reference set. But I have created a new one in the assembly that contains the welding making myself sure that this new reference set includes the weldings. Then I have selected this reference set to be active in the upper level assembly and I still can't see the welding in it.

I can't see it even if I make work part the assembly that contains the welding operation. The only way I can see the welding is by making it displayed part.

RE: Welding beads not visible in parent assembly

So it works as displayed part. What if you try to make the weld part a work part in the assembly context? Do you get an error message? I'm still suspecting the reference set..
