Catia v5 importing steps generates components instead of products. Any way to change that?

Just switching over to Catia after years of NX at my company. We're trying to get some data transferred, but one big problem we seem to be running into is when you import a STP into Catia, it's creating a mixture of products and components instead of doing it all as components. This doesn't work too well for us, and thus far I've just been going through and manually making product files and moving the parts into it and deleting the component. This is getting a bit redundant when you have to do it for 10-20 components per product and I know I still have a lot to do... so hoping someone can give me some better process for importing STP files into Catia and not having to deal with components.

I think it's controlled by the Export options when the step file is created. You might try the "One CATProduct for each product" option.

Perfect, that seemed to do the trick. Tried it on a few and it worked so far. Thank's a lot.
