Move object options vary in NX10

Move object options vary in NX10

Move object options vary in NX10

(OP)
Was trying to show a co-worker the associative option under move component in NX 10 and it was not a option. The settings pulldown was not even available on his computer. Why is it NX changes the available options for a common command? Is it a license money grab thing or just sadistic NX programmer fetish to move stuff around?

This reminds me of Mirror Body and Mirror feature being on two different applications menus(modeling vs Sheet Metal) eventhou they are related commands. Why on earth would you take two similar commands and hide them from each other. They should be under one command and just a "settings" click option.

Wild goose chasing menu commands is my biggest gripe with NX versus the other CAD systems.

RE: Move object options vary in NX10

Click the gear icon in the upper left corner of the dialog and choose "show collapsed groups" and the "move object (more)" options.
