NX Flexlm failure

NX Flexlm failure

NX Flexlm failure

(OP)
Hi,
From last few days I am getting this failure warning while working in NX. Presently I am working on NX 8.5. I am able to work and save my part. But still then just wanted to confirm if this failure will cause any problem while working. And also would like to know the reason behind this warning.

Thanks and Regards,
Isha

RE: NX Flexlm failure

That's a license server error. NX is having problems communicating with the server where your license files are stored. If it is intermittent it's probably a network issue or hardware issue on the server. Have your IT department look into it.

It happens to me a lot when I work remote and use a VPN to connect in to the office network.

There are a lot of things that can go wrong from the network side. Google it and you will see.

RE: NX Flexlm failure

The network connection between the server and client, is unstable and inconsistent. Sometimes it connects, sometimes not.
