NX9 parts highlighting itself

NX9 parts highlighting itself

NX9 parts highlighting itself

(OP)
NX 9: whenever my cursor comes over any part in 3D- modeling, the part starts highlighting itself, line by line, and I have to wait that it is over to continue working. I just must not touch any part with cursor.
How to fix it?

Thanks

RE: NX9 parts highlighting itself

see preferences selection and uncheck the Rollover box

Thanks
It helps. But now when I select the part and press ESC part starts deselecting very slowly. Should I re-install ug?

It just became unacceptable slow.

RE: NX9 parts highlighting itself

Is this your first using and installig Ug if so
may be your graphics card is the problem

Thanks, at this moment I think the same. When I select "move object" and select object, some rendering starts over the screen and last c.2 minute.

RE: NX9 parts highlighting itself

This sounds as if you do not have hardware accelerated graphics. Are you running a remote computer ?
Open the NX logfile and search for "Graphics device", Your graphics card should be reported there similar to this :
Graphics device: Quadro 4000M/PCIe/SSE2

If it states Graphics device: GDI Generic , your NX session doesn't recognize the graphics card. If you are running a card that should be recognized, try reinstall the graphics driver if that doesn't work, try a different driver.

Tomas
