CATIA instantiating problem

CATIA instantiating problem

CATIA instantiating problem

(OP)
Hello everybody
i am not a beginner in catia, but i am not a senior user too.

I have to instantiate a simple extrusion on a wide number of surface (around 15000 surfaces) which are not aligned but all are in parallel planes. i can easily create points or plane on a corner of this surface to have references. and the orientation will be the same for all.

but it looks that i can not use "multi instantiation" because it need a pattern for that and because my surfaces are not aligned in a plane, i can not create a repetition.

so, how can i do that? is power copy good for that or is there other way do do that?

thank for yours helps

Sebastien

RE: CATIA instantiating problem

Possibly a power copy since the extrusion uses the same inputs at different locations.

Also, maybe a macro would be good for 15000 features.
