How do you clean out a NewStuff Folder?

RE: NewStuff Folder

Is this in regards to a teamcenter install?
If so, just cut the items out that you no longer want in the folder.

No it's an existing install. Pretty much everything that I create is put in the newstuff folder

RE: NewStuff Folder

Is the "newstuff" folder in teamcenter or are you running native NX?

TeamCenter

RE: NewStuff Folder

As cowski said, just "cut" (ctrl+x) the items you do not want in new stuff. This will remove the relation between the items and the new stuff folder.

But their names no longer can be reused

Cutting the items won't delete them, they are simply removed from the newstuff "folder" view. The items will still be accessible and usable in teamcenter.
