View lock in NX 8.5

(OP)
hi,
Can someone help regarding these two issues :
1. How to lock a view in drafting in NX 8.5 i.e restricting the movement of views?
2. How to restrict editing of view?

Thanks and Regards,
Isha

Export a pdf of your drawing, give that to the user.

RE: View lock in NX 8.5

I'm confused of how
a question of 'How to lock a view in drafting'
become a question of Export to pdf

RE: View lock in NX 8.5

Admittedly, my answer was a bit sarcastic. Perhaps I should have added a smiley to help clarify that.

However, the question implied that IEngr wanted someone else to be able to view but not edit their drawing. In that case, the easy answer is "don't give them the original file". NX is an authoring tool, there are no special file locks that would prevent someone from editing the drawing (nor should there be, in my opinion).
