URGENT HELP - Interactions

(OP)
Hello,

So, i have this very disturbing problem: I am working with a complex model, with 76 contact pairs. This model is a reinforced concret plate wirh iron bars. I exported this model form SolidWorks.

Everything works just fine, unless the iterections. I use Find Contact Pairs, Abaqus identifie all of them, i apply tie to every one, but ... When i exit the find contact pairs menu, this message appears : SMACkmCaeMod stoped. And then Abqus closes.

I really must to deliver this project and i have no clues.

Than u very much in advance.

RE: URGENT HELP - Interactions

Hi,
You didn't specify the error message.

Try opening the results and visually inspect the ties.

If they didnt connect everywhere, change the tolerance in the tie settings.

Hope it works out for you!

Hi,

Thank you for yout answer.

The error that appears in a windows is : SMACkmCaeMod stoped. And then abaqus exits.

I can inspect visually the contact pairs, they are correct. When i aplly tie in the find contact pairs menu, and then confirm, abaqus exits.

RE: URGENT HELP - Interactions
