Creating intersecting welds in Solidworks

Creating intersecting welds in Solidworks

(OP)
I am working on core and shell (like a dual wall) dual extrusion head adapter.  Oil will be the temperature control medium and will flow between the core and the shell. Due to the configuration, the shell is comprised of several pieces that must be welded during assembly.  There are instances where three-way and four-way intersection welds are required. I can create the welds using Solidworks Assembly Feature, however, a void exists where the weld beads intersect.  I there a method to merge the weld beads at the intersect point?  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

It might be of greater help to also ask this question in the SolidWorks forum here. Forum559
