I assume that you are using the appendix to API-650 in order to calculate bolt diameters and loads....

Make an approximation based on geometry and areas...

Most API-650 tanks up about 30 ft diameter are .25 to.375 inch wall thickness......include an allowance for nozzles and for platform & railings based on the actual design.
