NX9 Dimension stub leader location moving

NX9 Dimension stub leader location moving

NX9 Dimension stub leader location moving

(OP)
When creating a dimension of any sort that requires a stub on the leader line and I want to change the leader from left to right or right to left side of the dimension, I change it as needed, but when I reposition the dimension sometimes it resets itself to the original side. Anybody know of a way to make it stick when I move it again?

RE: NX9 Dimension stub leader location moving

Annoying, isn't it?! I'd also love to know a way to "fix" it. At least the problem was acknowledged at the Siemens PLM Connection conference during the Drafting hands-on training session.

RE: NX9 Dimension stub leader location moving

I wonder if this is a graphics card issue.

RE: NX9 Dimension stub leader location moving

select the dimension, hold 'ctrl' and then drag dimension while re positioning.

RE: NX9 Dimension stub leader location moving

Pressing CTRL then clicking on and dragging the dimension seems to work fine for me - my issue is that I forget that I can do this.
