Metric Thread in Imperial Part - NX9

Metric Thread in Imperial Part - NX9

Metric Thread in Imperial Part - NX9

(OP)
Hello,

I'm using NX 9.0.5.2 and I have an imperial block (1" x 3" x 5") that I need to put an M12 x 1.75 threaded hole through it. I don't see an option in the threaded hole dialog box to switch units on my hole. I've searched preferences and customer defaults to try to find the option to add metric threaded holes to an imperial part. I can't believe the only way to do it is converting the part. Please tell me I'm missing something simple.

Thanks for your help,

Matt

In the "hole" command dialog, expand the "settings" section and change the "standard" to your desired metric option.

I also had to go in the upper left corner "dialog options" and click "Hole (More)". The dialog options are what's getting me. Thanks so much for your help!

Yes, the menu options can be a hassles sometimes. Just need to expand them more.
