Grip For Layer
Grip For Layer
(OP)
Hi All,
Does anyone have grip source/ grip file to check layer settings in modeling and drafting.
Basically a test to check whether the layer have been applied correctly or not.
Should generate a note file or a report about layers.
With regards,
kumar

RE: Grip For Layer
For Check-Mate in general, there's a fact sheet here:
https://www.plm.automation.siemens.com/en_us/Images/2504_tcm1023-11882.pdf
..and a pretty good intro video here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEkQxG0SSe0
...and then I'd suggest checking out (no pun intended) the Check-Mate section in the NX Docs here:
https://docs.plm.automation.siemens.com/tdoc/nx/10/nx_help/#uid:index_checkmate
There are a few different checks that you might consider, depending on exactly what you're after. For reference, these are all in the Template --> File Structure category:
- Check if Layers Contain Objects of Valid Types
- Check if Objects are on Specified Layers
- Check Layer / Category Mappings (and a few more similar to this one)
Does that help?Taylor Anderson
