Thermal capacity of liquid resistance started motor

Thermal capacity of liquid resistance started motor

Thermal capacity of liquid resistance started motor

(OP)
How would I calculate the Kjoule thermal capacity for a rotor starter.

Rotor current=1805A
Rotor Voltage = 1335V
Stator voltage= 11000V
Stator current=243.1A
Motor rating 4000kW
3 phase Y
cos 0.89
Starting torque 200%

RE: Thermal capacity of liquid resistance started motor

Since kJoule=kWattsecond, the time needs to be given or estimated. Some idea about the motor prospective acceleration curve would help.

(OP)
The run up time for the liquid resistance starter is 10 seconds.
