Is there simple way to link 2 PC via USB port ?

(OP)
Hello,

I've got 2 PCs at same room with OS Windows Me and Win2000 respectively, both has USB port. Nowadays, I intend to link them, and heard that is possible to simply use USB cable to link them if there are only 2 PC. While, I have problems:

1. The USB cable I found in shops does not have same plug in both end, so I can not simply use it to link the 2 PC phsically.

2. Where can I search software to let them see each other, so that I can transfer files between them ?

Many thanks.

HY

You need a peer to peer USB cable, a search on google.com, turned up many vendors. Then you will have to "share" the drives on each PC, this will result in a peer to peer network.
