Move individual body in part

(OP)
I have a part with 2 separate bodies. How can I move one of those bodies?
My goal is to move one of these bodies closer to the other. Placement and dragging of the xyz-plane tool does not work.

Thank you.

RE: Move individual body in part

that would work only if the construction inside the body is isolated:

drop the compass on the body to move, select the body in the tree, then move compass

Just to add to what Eric said....

besides using the compass to move isolated Bodies, you can add assembly constraints between the Bodies.
