Machine tool simulator-Change of PC error

Machine tool simulator-Change of PC error

(OP)
Hello People

So for one of my projects I made a machine simulation model for a mill turn machine. To customise the turning operation I had to use the Machine configurator. When I transfered the files along with the modified .mcf file on one of the pcs in my own company it worked perfectly fine. But when we tried to run the simulation after transfering the files one one of our clients laptop , it gave the error "unknown tool carrier "C1" used". It is quiet puzzling because the version of NX on both laptops is 8.5. 3.3. Also the machine_database.dat and machine_simulation.dat files and .mcf and .ccf files are all excatly the same. How is it possible that machine simulation runs smoothly on one PC but has error on the other with exactly same version of NX. Would be great if someone could help :)

RE: Machine tool simulator-Change of PC error

I would compare all the UGII_CAM* variables in the start of the syslog file.
I suspect there is a difference in the configurations.
