Sine Sweep Frequency Analysis

Sine Sweep Frequency Analysis

Sine Sweep Frequency Analysis

(OP)
Dear all,

I have to compare ABAQUS and NASTRAN on sine sweep frequency analysis, I made my two input files (.inp for ABQ and .dat for NSTRN).

For NASTRAN I first made a modal analysis on a separate .dat input file and I defined my boundaries (SPC) in this file. I made a restart procedure in my sine_sweep.dat input file (ASSIGN and RESTART LOGICAL procedures) in which I called my SPC (same ID than in the modal file). The problem is than when I performed my analysis, the boundaries are not taken in account ans all my structure is moving (the E.V are good..)

Does anyone know where the problem comes from?

thx you in advance
regards
