PLAN 53B PG&PT ON REFIL LINE UPSTREAM CHECK VALVE

PLAN 53B PG&PT ON REFIL LINE UPSTREAM CHECK VALVE

(OP)
Hi,

We are curently having a pump seal system design in which seal vendor provided the PG & PT of a Plan 53B in the refill line upstream of the check valve. I want to know if having the PG, PT upstream of the check valve on the refill line for plan 53B has any advantage or specific application.

We feel that this is an error of the design of the seal vendor as we cannot see any advantage of having these instruments in the fill line upstream the check valve.

I would like to have your expert opinion before we go back to our pump vendor.

Thanks
Tilas
