What is/where 5456 H111 critical stress intensity, Kic ?

We have sensitized 20 year old 5456 H111 exposed to marine environment. Both 1 inch and 3/8 inch think extrusions with multiple cracks. I am trying to calculate the allowable surface crack length, Ac (assuming 18ksi, semi circular crack)

Fracture Resistance of Aluminum Alloys does not have 5456 H111 critical stress intensity, Kic data. Any other ideas?

RE: 5456 H111 Critical Stress Intensity

Is it listed in MMPDS? I don't have a copy handy, but i know that alloy is covered, just not sure which properties.

I checked MMPDS, and did not find Kic

RE: 5456 H111 Critical Stress Intensity

Keep in mind that the orientation relative to the rolling direction can have a substantial influence on the Kic values in aluminum alloys. Not only do you need to specify the alloy, but the orientation too.
