AutoCAD into Word document Line Weight Problem

AutoCAD into Word document Line Weight Problem

AutoCAD into Word document Line Weight Problem

(OP)
I am trying to figure something out - I need to take an AutoCAD drawing and place it in a word document. This works fine but the problem is that I need the lines to be thicker once they are in the word doc. I know this can be done with a WMF file but I need it to remain an AutoCAD drawing. Any one out there know how to do this? Thanks!

RE: AutoCAD into Word document Line Weight Problem

I'm using Corel as "import filter"

I'm interested in elegant way to do that, too.
For now, I can describe my procedure:

- from AutoCAD plot into PLT file (some HP plotter should be installed as the one you plot on)

- PLT import filter in Corel allows you to specify width for colors.

Quality of the result much depends on installed plotter (you should try several).

Are there something simpler?
