Dear All,
I am working at Ammonia plant,
During Hazop review, qustion arises requirment of area operator cabin electrical appliances classification. Area operator cabin are outside the classified area around 10 meters away.
NFPA define any requirements for electrical appliances installation in operator cabin?
Any reference from other ammonia plants operators.

Review National Electrical Code Article 500 for hazardous (classified) location requirements. Also, review NFPA 497 which is the Recommended Practice for the Classification of Flammable Liquids, Gases, or Vapors and of Hazardous (Classified) Locations for Electrical Installations in Chemical Process Areas.
