S-N curve of UHMWPE 1050 GUR

(OP)
Hi all,

Please could you tell me where I can find the fatigue S-N curve of the Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene: Grade 1050 GUR.

Thank you in advance for any help or information.

P.s. I have already searched in scientific papers databases and using many search engines but I could not find it.

HeavyRain:
I would check directly with the material supplier. If anyone knows and should have that info. or testing which would help you in your efforts, it should be them. There are so many minor variations in the make-up of those materials and the details which may apply for a given S-N curve, that this is not likely something you would find in a general catalog in material info.

RE: S-N curve of UHMWPE 1050 GUR

In my experience, I have used this as an abrasive resistant material for fender pile rub rails and similar applications. The UHMWPE is always attached to a backing structural member.
I have not seen it used in a structural application by itself. My experience only.
