SAP2000 - External Tendon

SAP2000 - External Tendon

(OP)
Does anyone ever done modelling for External Tendon in Precast Box Girder using SAP2000? I am new to SAP2000, and now studying how to make the model. But it seems that I cannot find any tutorial for this type of model. If anyone has the tutorial, that would help me so much. Thank you.

RE: SAP2000 - External Tendon

What do you mean by external tendon? You may model that using cable elements in SAP2K. I use CSiBridge for this purpose and it is just fine!

RE: SAP2000 - External Tendon

Based on what I have learned, the external tendon characteristic, especially if we talk about stress losses, is different to that of internal tendon. For example, the frictional losses. While the friction losses in internal tendon happened along the tendon, for external tendon, the losses only happened around deviators and anchorage block. How do we model this characteristic? Or is there any way to define external tendon in SAP2000?
