SA-36 for low temp on non retaining parts.

(OP)
Hello everybody, i have a spherical desander at 5000 psi, which was constructed for the American market at MDMT-20, now the Canadian market is interested in this equipment but the MDMT is -40, the non pressure retaining parts such as name plate, lift lugs, skirt and base plate are made form SA-36 material, is there any restriction which dictate i have to change those parts to SA-516,70 due the low temp or for acceptance in the Canadian Market?

thanks a lot.

RE: SA-36 for low temp on non retaining parts.

Ask the Canadian regulators, they have specific rules and approval for vessels and boilers and are the only ones to provide guidance.
