Frequency Analysis.. Mode and Natural Frequency?

Frequency Analysis.. Mode and Natural Frequency?

Frequency Analysis.. Mode and Natural Frequency?

(OP)
I'm trying to do frequency analysis on a complex STEP file.. Most tutorials etc I have seen will obtain results over a wide range of frequencies for a small number of modes (eg 10 Modes.. from 0-1000Hz). When I try and run something similar I am getting 10 Modes from 19.992-20.290Hz.. even though I'm running an analysis with a maximum frequency of 2000Hz.

Is there an issue with something I am setting up here, I'm trying to find the Natural Frequencies from 20Hz - 2000Hz but at this rate it will take me a long time to obtain the displacement results for this frequency range.

I can upload more info about steup etc if needed. Hopefully I'm missing something basic...

RE: Frequency Analysis.. Mode and Natural Frequency?

Check your settings for the frequency step. Remove the number of requested eigenfrequencies.
