Contact 2D simulation

(OP)
Hello everyone

I am going throung a simulation in 2D. I chose my tool to be analytical rigid, so I dont want to waste CPU time computing results I do not need. The thing is after setting BC and everything, I create my JOB and it always abort with the following message

*CONTACT cannot be defined on 2D element facets. If the model contains 2D or axisymmetric elements then *CONTACT INCLUSIONS, ALL EXTERIOR cannot be specified, and the first surface name on each data line under *CONTACT INCLUSIONS or *CONTACT EXCLUSIONS must not be blank.

Does anyone know how to solve it?

RE: Contact 2D simulation

Open the Abaqus Analysis Users Guide and read the chapter regarding general contact in A/Standard.
