How include master part "mass" or "Unset attributes" in tabular notes?

HI
I want to create a tabular note that include mass attribute, it will be used as title block.
it is possible to enter material name by "NX Material" attribute in a cell. but not for mass or other "unset attributes"
how can I do that?

Hi cowski
thanks

I read that thread, but I did not completely understand how can I apply "dummy component".
you mean I have to create a template and finally place a 3rd party model to it? and then set the cell attribute by that model?

regards

RE: How include master part "mass" or "Unset attributes" in tabular notes?

Yes, that's the basic idea.

Start a new file from your "model" template and assign attribute values. Optional: create a feature (such as a block or cylinder) in your part that is roughly the size of the parts that you model, this can be used later to define views in your drawing template. Open your drawing template and add this new part as a component. You now have valid attributes that you can reference in your drawing template notes. You can add a base view (and other views) on the drawing if you wish. Save your template and make sure that the "dummy" file is saved in a location where your load options won't find it. Now when you create a new file from your drawing template and specify which model file to reference, the real model will replace the dummy file and the notes will update to the real attribute values and the drawing views will update to the new model (you may need to initiate the drawing update yourself depending on your NX preferences).

Hello
Thanks a lot Cowski
I test that and it works great, same attribute name and settings must be used in models.

best regards
