NX 8.5 / NX10 Associative Quantities in Parts Lists

NX 8.5 / NX10 Associative Quantities in Parts Lists

(OP)
This has been brought up previously, however it was many years ago and I'm hoping this has since been resolved.

IN NX8.5 or NX 10 - how can we access the quantity of a part ($~Q) in an annotation?

I can insert a parts list, and then use split balloons when using the Auto Balloon function, but that goes against company standards. Currently, we use "4X" or '4 REQD" for each grouping of a particular component next to the find number balloon.

Thanks!
Frank

Seems like there is no way to actually access this variable. Major design flaw!

I agree. This is something that has been needed for a long time. That and the ability to embed symbols in notes/tabular notes.
