Using elastic foundation as a boundary condition

Using elastic foundation as a boundary condition

Using elastic foundation as a boundary condition

(OP)
Hi
I am trying to measure the stress level between the plies of laminate composite under moving load using Abaqus.
I simulate a laminate composite(rectangle shape) using shell planar and got the shell partitioning in order to divide the laminate in to two. Then I applied the pressure vertically on each of the partitioned regions in two different steps.

So, I was wondering to know that which boundary condition could be good for this purpose? Using displacement /rotation or elastic foundation ?

RE: Using elastic foundation as a boundary condition

What is a moving load?
Elastic foundation is probably not what you want. Beside that, the BC should represent the situation in reality. And that should you know better than we for you model.
