NX Open / Teamcenter - Read Attribute List Of Values

NX Open / Teamcenter - Read Attribute List Of Values

(OP)
Hi

Anybody have an idea of how to read an exhaustive List Of Values from a mapped teamcenter attribute via NXopen?

We are running NX 9 and TC10, and want to present users with valid attribute options in NXopen programs without having to hard code the values.

I have now talked with GTAC and they say that there is currently no way to do this in NXOpen directly. The suggested way of doing it is to use UF_UGMGR_invoke_pdm_server() to call an ITK function that can get the information directly from teamcenter. I have asked GTAC to add me to an existing enhancement request (ER-7261249) that asks for a method to directly get the linked lov values from an attribute via NXOpen.

In the mean time i will look into the ITK solution, but will probably just code the lov values into the NXOpen application to get it out of the door.
