Element Type CIN2D4 in Abaqus

Element Type CIN2D4 in Abaqus

Element Type CIN2D4 in Abaqus

(OP)
Hi, I am trying to model an infinite boundary for 2D soil media in Abaqus.
First, I create the infinite part with Acoustic elements (AC2D4) then try to replace with CIN2D4 in .inp file.
But it says that "Element type "CIN2D4" is not supported"
It normally works with ACAX4 to CINAX4 and AC3D8 to CIN3D8. Can anyone explain what the problem with is?

If not can anyone suggest me a method to introduce infinite element as boundary of 2D soil media.....

Thanks

RE: Element Type CIN2D4 in Abaqus

Searching the Analysis Users Guide for "CIN2D4" shows zero hits. That indicates that this element type does not exist.
