I am looking at working as a Class A Surface designer on NX. I have used surfacing for different industries. Can anyone help me with what surface features I need to master to be effective in Class A Surfacing in automotive industry?

Thanks,

FYI, I am cross-posting at Link

RE: NX Class A Surface

Do you know Class A surfacing ?

It's not so much the specific commands as it is the knowledge of the designer.

Regards,
Tomas

Well said.

A good start would be a deep dive into splines and how they influence the resulting surface. Bad splines = bad surfaces.

Yes, I know Class A Surfacing. I know how to edit surfaces. Being that I have not done it the last few years, and that some Class A Surfacers tend to work with certain functions, I am seeing if certain surfacing functions work better now.
