I need an excel sheet

The likelihood of someone who has one AND will give it to you is slim. You are better off researching and building one yourself.

"You can find information about these historic types of columns
in Section 3.4 of the 5th edition of the SSRC Guide, as well as in
Section 2.18 of Timoshenko and Gere’s Elastic Stability. In such
columns, one needs to consider the effect of the reduction of the
stiffness because of shear. Ignoring this effect is very serious and
it was one of the causes of the first collapse of the Quebec Bridge
in 1905."

I would agree that writing your own spreadsheet is the way to go. Number 1, it forces you to read about and learn the procedures, code checks, etc.
Number 2 - as robyengIT implied - you have better assurance that there are no errors in it and can use it with confidence.

RE: Design of 4angles laced column.....

I have to check. I may have written this at work and I need to see if it's O.K. with them.

RE: Design of 4angles laced column.....

surely with the many ways you can design a lattice, it'd be hard for one size to fit all ?

another day in paradise, or is paradise one day closer ?

RE: Design of 4angles laced column.....

June 21 and the OP was June 18. Do you still need that spreadsheet? I suppose you gave up and wrote your own?
